2PM Nichkhun confirms to have lodged a lawsuit against a woman who stalked him.
The Civil Affairs Department at the Seoul Central District Court held the first round of interrogation on Nichkhun's proposal for a protection order against a woman known as Kim, as per the legal sources on August 5, KST. Upon learning both Nichkhun and Kim's views, the jury ended the interrogation process.
The 2PM member has reportedly lodged an injunction against Kim on April 6. JYP Entertainment also said, "We are planning on filing a lawsuit against Kim without any lenient treatment we will be reacting firmly. Our artist is gravely under intense psychological anguish." (via @Allkpop)
2PM'S NICKHUN DEBUT
In September 2008, Nickhun debuted as a member of the boy band 2PM with their first release single '10 Points Out of 10 Points' from album 'Hottest Time of the Day.' Eventually, the band was able to release five Korean studio albums and four Japanese studio albums. He agreed to sign a ten year deal with the agency after completing an audition held by JYP Entertainment but later amended-signed an eight-year contract.
Nickhun was taken to South Korea to train in 2006, placed within a group of 24 other candidates. Park Jin-young told him that he needed to learn how South Korean idols do, study and be familiar with Korean and Mandarin Chinese, and tone up. He now speaks Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese fluently.
He first made an appearance through MNET's Hot Blood, a show that revealed the rigorous fitness training. Thirteen male recruits must go through to get the chance to make their breakthrough in either a ballad team of 4 (2AM) or a seven (2PM) dance group through JYP Entertainment.
As a Thailand male resident, Nickhun was subjected to the 2009 Military Lottery roster and subsequently obtained an exempt status from armed service.
