Park Bo Gum transforms into a model in the newly released stills of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Record of Youth.'
'Record of Youth' will tell a story of young people in the modeling industry who are trying to achieve their dreams. The drama will star Park Bo Gum, Byun Woo Seok, and Park So Dam.
Park Bo Gum will take the role of a model named Sa Hye Joon, who works tirelessly to become an actor. The teaser images show Sa Hye Joon as a professional model nailing a clothing ensemble while taking a shot on a runway. In contrast, the other shows his journey as he faces life's realities as he works several part-time jobs to get by.
Sa Hye Joon is a picture of a man with high hopes that even things did not go his way, he never gives up on his dreams, and he is the kind of person who has high levels of objectivity and empathy. As he walks his path, destructive words and discouragement bears no weight for him.
Talking about his character, Park Bo Gum said that he is a rational character who has his own set of values. He has learned throughout his life the characteristic of being honest and with clear and strong opinions.
The actor expressed that he's been learning a new life since he got the new role as Sa Hye Joon. He studied fashion show runway footage as well as photoshoots and interviews. Park Bo Gum shared that Sa Hye Joon is just another young adult who continues to challenge himself and advance towards his dreams. "I'm doing my best to give a realistic portrayal that's reflective of my peers who have dreams."
The journey of Sa Hye Joon towards reaching his dreams will be witnessed on September 7 at 9:00 PM, KST.
