Previously this year, Starlights, and supporters of other famous artists put VIXX's Hongbin in big trouble.
He had been on his regular live stream feed through Twitch, however with the video, this time as he was intoxicated by alcohol, he became a little too explicit. He flipped the audiences off and mocked other groups of idols like SHINee, EXO, and Red Velvet.
Although the matter heated up in late February, the last updates regarding Hongbin's whereabouts resurfaced again in May, on the 8th anniversary of the band, where he wrote an open letter to fans through the use of the official fan cafe.
He sincerely thank the fans for their undying love and support, and again expressed remorse, pledging to do better. That being said, fans reviewed the thread once more on the latest headlines and were surprised to see that Hongbin's account had already been removed from the fan cafe.
On August 6th, fans noticed instead that he had left messages on his Twitch profile. The article mentioned that Hongbin wants to start streaming live with others, where he can play and talk with spectators.
What appalled fans throughout his resting period were that he noted "big changes." After Hongbin's post, news outlets reached out to Jellyfish Entertainment, but representatives from Jellyfish Entertainment said they would check it out, and have been silent since. You can read the article Hongbin wrote on Twitch below.
"Hey, everyone. Were you at this time good and happy? I've spent time at home myself, much as before, and I believe I get through by rolling (rather than walking). I figured I'd like to have an entertaining live video feed again, where I play with you everybody while we laugh and communicate. There were significant changes while I was down the list from broadcast television. I'm still attempting to make changes, but I'm still out. I'm not quite certain if there would be any adjustments to prospective broadcasts too, but I'm trying hard to make it, so my streams are pleasant for viewing, and it's one we can talk and poke fun about. See you all soon". (via Koreaboo)
