Som Hye recently sat down for an interview with news outlet Xportsnews. She opened up topics, including her future dreams and her life coming out from the shell.
Last August, Som Hye, the former contestant of Mnet survival show “Idol School,” revealed that she is bisexual and has a girlfriend at the time, which she showed in a picture.
Som Hye shared on the interview on what she’s been up to lately. She said she was refraining from going out due to COVID-19 and stayed home to watch movies, Netflix, and Youtube.
Som Hye also shared that she loves to attend pottery workshops or tarry on exhibition halls, but due to the current situation, she’s doing her best to find things she can do at her home.
She also added that she is currently attending acting in school to prepare for her debut as an actress. She expressed her wish to play a psychotic person and said that in reality, there’s isn’t any person that made her that crazy, so she wants to try it in acting. Som Hye also noted that when she’s acting, it helps her understand situations or characters that she can’t understand in reality, and she finds it exciting and charming.
Moreover, Som Hye candidly talked about the break-up with her ex-girlfriend, whom she recently revealed to be in a relationship. She explained that they were close before but not anymore. “Rather than breaking up for a conflict or a special reason, we just ended up going on our separate ways through a very natural process. Now both of us are doing the things we love in our posts.”
Previously, Som Hye, in an interview, revealed that she came out because she didn’t want to hide the fact that she was dating and in love like everybody else. She also warned malicious commenters that she would take legal actions against them.
When Som Hye was asked about the public reactions about her revelation, she expressed that even after she explained herself in interviews and Instagram posts, people who negatively saw her will always continue to throw negativity. “So, I just stopped minding about it altogether.”
