Former AOA member and model, Mina, has rejected a police investigation regarding her claims of being bullied during her time with the girl group.
According to reports, the Gangnam Police Station stated that they had conducted an internal investigation into Mina's alleged bullying during her time as an AOA member. The police revealed that the investigation started when they received a complaint from a girl group's longtime fan on August 10, Allkpop reported.
Because of the fan's submitted complaint, Mina and her agency would have to appear for questioning during the investigation with the detective and give a statement regarding the claim. However, the singer and her agency were hesitant in response to the detective's request.
Mina's agency, Woori Actors, stated to DongA that they had received police summons regarding the alleged bullying case, and both parties have decided to refuse the investigation. "She is still in a fragile psychological state. People online who do these things are not giving her strength, but rather making it worse," Woori Actors stated.
Mina's agency added that they ask the police not to investigate the bullying matter further. Mina has no intention of reporting or does not want any information related to the investigation. Woori Actors also states that Mina doesn't wish for the issue to continue to grow bigger.
Earlier reports state that Mina has previously apologized via the singer's personal social media account after the post of her arm's image in stitches. On Mina's apology, she says that she made everyone around worried about her and disappointed everyone who witnessed her post and photos online.
On the bright side, Mina has received treatment and has been showing her love of work and keeping herself busy despite the horrible setback. In a photoshoot and interview for International BNT, the singer is seen glowing and looking radiant in her stunning photos from the pictorial.
In the interview, Mina expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her, especially her fans, as they have boosted her confidence with the fans sending her a ton of encouragement messages throughout her recovery.
