Kim Woo Seok, who is set to star on upcoming drama Twenty Twenty, shares new insight of his acting debut.
From the creators of “A-Teen,” a new upcoming drama titled “Twenty Twenty” will soon be coming out. The story is about six young people facing difficult adulthood who struggle with their age and contemplate life’s questions.
As Kim Woo Seok plays Lee Hyun Jin, he will be starring in the drama in a character whose parents prioritized work over the family, making him a lonely and discomposed man with many internal scars. He soon finds himself begin to change when he met Chae Da Hee (played by Han Sung Min).
Chae Da Hee is a character that seems unapproachable but eventually meets new friends in college and experienced an unfamiliar life compared to whatever normal life to others. Together with them will be A.C.E’s Chan, who takes the role of Son Bo Hyun, the energetic friend of Lee Hyun Jin. And Park Sang Nam as Jung Ha Joon, a character with big secrets.
The idol turned actor finds himself in the character of Lee Hyun Jin because, as an artist himself that takes music as his life, he saw something in common with his role that finds comfort through composing and making music.
Kim Woo Seok also commented that he is grateful for being part of this high drama and having a great character. As this is his first acting job, he still feels worried and has prepared and worked to get to know the role of Lee Hyun Jin.
“Twenty Twenty” will be pre-released on Naver TV this August 15 at 7:00 PM, KST, before the official premiere on August 22 at 7:00 PM KST through the Youtube channel Playlist Studio. On September 6, the upcoming drama will also air on JTBC at 11:50 PM KST.
