SBS’ Law of the Jungle reality show will be going on a temporary hiatus starting on June 13 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

A source from SBS stated, “Because this is a program that has received a lot of love for many years, we are always actively checking to see when filming will become possible again. When filming returns to normal, we will return to viewers with an upgraded and improved image.” Soompi reported.

Law of the Jungle is a South Korean reality-documentary show that airs on SBS. Each episode features celebrities sent to survive in remote locations around the world.
In each location, the guests are tasked to hunt, prepare meals, and create shelter for the group. Comedian Kim Byung Man is the show's only regular cast member.

The show has been running for almost nine years since it started broadcasting back in October 2011.

For the meantime, the time slot for ‘Law of the Jungle’ will be replaced with Park Na Rae and Jang Do Yeon’s new dating variety show, ‘Park-Jang’s LOL‘(League of Love-Coaching). The new show will start airing on June 13.

LOL is a dating entertainment program where two comedians and best friends, Jang Do Yeon and Park Na Rae will take on the role of love coaches and consult with real couples on their dating issues.

The show will have a panel called the “dating evaluation group” that will objectively evaluate the dating route of Park Na Rae and Jang Do Yeon during the show.

The panel line-up consists of singer Lee Suk Hoon, who will represent the side of the married people and actress Park Ah In who will provide famous hot place information among actors.

Kim Jong Yul will also join the panel as the love expert who will approach love scientifically and statistically, and at the same time bring a new form of love advice that has never been seen on TV in time by his logical and sharp analysis is expected to increase the reliability of ‘Park-Jang’s LOL’ dating course, Starbiz reported.
