Meanwhile, Jiyoon has been preparing for her comeback for months as the former 4Minute member announced that she would debut a solo career on June 30. The idol's upcoming project will showcase her powerful vocals and eye-catching solo performance. The forthcoming album will also be a callback to her 4Minute days.
Jiyoon announced her comeback to the music industry with her first single album, "Fire." The comeback features a schedule and the plans to release teaser images, MV teasers, and wrapping up with the official music video that will drop on August 24.

BACKGROUND
Jiyoon is a singer, rapper, songwriter, actress, who debuted with the girl group 4Minute in 2009 with their single "Hot Issue." Jiyoon and bandmate Gayoon formed a subgroup called 2Yoon in 2013 and release their EP "Harvest Moon" with the track "24/7."
On June 13, 2016, Cube Entertainment announced that 4Minute decided to disband. The record label stated that Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, and Sohyun would not be renewing their contracts, excluding Hyuna.
On August 8, 2016, Jiyoon officially signed an exclusive contract with JS E&M that houses artists such as Seo Ha Joon, Byun Jung Soo, Yang Mi Ra, and Chun Jung Myung. The agency announced her solo debut plans and actively supported her from music to acting and variety shows, citing her as having "unlimited potential."
