“Stats don’t lie!”, says the 134.4 Million BTS ARMY around the globe as their idols continue to conquer the Twitter world as the most mentioned K-pop group amidst the COVID-19 pandemic!

With the rocking 291 Million Twitter mentions based on K-pop Charts Twitter account from year to date, BTS is still miles away from the 42 M mentions of EXO (Top 2) who keeps an eye to BLACKPINK’s (Top 3) threat on taking their spot.

Among the Top 10 most mentioned K-pop groups are Got 7, NCT 127, Tomorrow X together, Seventeen, Monsta X, Ateez, and Twice respectively.

The seven-member group has just celebrated its 7th debut anniversary last June 13 with a Festa with series of surprises prior to their big day. The most awaited release of their album and BTS Family Picture quenched the thirst of their fans. However, the seven members connect to their fans virtually to celebrate their 7th anniversary due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“We were supposed to be having a great time and making good memories with ARMY by now,” RM said in the 2020 Festa Birthday Party Video. He also revealed that the band also felt frustrated since they have practiced a lot to show their fans a spectacular performance.

The group supposedly had 19 upcoming concerts but all were postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, including their dates in London’s Twickenhan Stadium on July 3-4 and their further shows set for Berlin and Barcelona according to Big Hit Entertainment.

“Due to the nature of BTS concerts involving travel by thousands of international fans no matter where the performances are held, it is difficult to resume the tour with current strict restrictions on cross-border movement still in place,” said Big Hit Entertainment.

It can be recalled that the BTS’ second official video entitled 'ON' in their latest album ‘Map of the Soul:7’ became the biggest Youtube Premiere of all time.
