SBS revealed the cast of their new upcoming drama, "Penthouse."
On September 2, the network confirms the main cast of the drama "Penthouse," who are Lee Ji Ah, Kim So Yeon, Eugene, Uhm Ki Joon, Shin Eun Kyung, Bong Tae Gyu, Yoon Joo Hee, Park Eun Seok, and, Yoon Jong Hoon. The new drama will air every Monday– Tuesday later this year.
Creating the drama is the writer of "Return" and "The Last Empress" Kim Soon Ok and the director Joo Dong Min of "The Last Empress." The drama "Penthouse" tells the story of a woman who does her best to be in high society by becoming the "queen" in Gangnam's 100th-floor penthouse. The woman who had no choice but to be a villain to protect themselves.
Lee Ji Ah plays Shim Soo Ryeon, a woman of grace, dignity, and elegance who has never been lacking in her life, making her qualified to be a penthouse queen. At the same time, Kim So Yeon is Cheon Seo Jin, a wealthy woman who is showy and arrogant and who harbors warped ambition.
Moreover, Eugene will play Oh Yoon Hee, someone who never experienced being wealthy and has done every job she can. Oh Yoon Hee is doing everything in her power to be in the high society so her child will have a better opportunity at success.
Meanwhile, playing the role of Joo Dan Tae, a genius real estate agent who makes money with every investment he makes, is Uhm Ki Joon. He is the husband of Shim Soo Ryeon, played by Lee Ji Ah.
And lastly, Bong Tae Gyu plays Lee Kyu Jin, a momma's boy of a wealthy family of judges and lawyers, making himself a law firm lawyer, with Shin Eun Kyung playing Kang Ma Ri, a woman that meets wealth and leads a secret double life. (Via Soompi)
