MBC's upcoming drama, "Kairos," unveils a new sneak peek of Shin Sung Rok. The actor delves into what initially drew him to the drama and how he intends to portray his role.
Shin Sung Rok will be playing the youngest director Kim Seo Jin, who owns a company and the object of his colleagues' bitter envy. Despite being a perfectionist, Kim Seo Jin loses everything when his daughter was unexpectedly kidnapped in the blink of an eye.
The new stills show the different side of Kim Seo Jin. As a businessman, he dresses as an impeccably formal suit and his carefully styled hair.
However, as he begins to look for his missing daughter, he traded his suits for a ragged brown jacket and a more casual hairstyle. In another still, it shows he is in deep stress as he makes a phone call to someone, his hair is messy, and some dirt on his face.
Shin Sung Rok praised the production for the script. He added that from all the scripts he has received, the writing was of the highest quality.
It was a short time for him to be fascinated with it and decided to take on a ride with the role. He extended his affection for the drama, and he thinks it will be a good drama with a lot of plot twist every episode. The viewers will surely not regret it when they find time to watch it.
The actor said that he is working much harder to portray the character of Kim Seo Jin in the best way possible. He hoped that the viewers would be able to feel the painful emotions that he is concealing. Shin Sung Rok is paying particular attention to expressing how he slowly breaks down naturally and realistically.
Meanwhile, Shin Sung Rok doubts whether he fits for the role and responded that the director told him that he synchronized well with his character Kim Seo Jin. He trusts the director's opinion, and he will continue working hard to immerse himself in the role. (Via Soompi)
