Billboard, basing on international streaming and sales, has released this week’s Top 10 on its new charts that rank songs!
Billboard and MRC launched last week two new weekly charts to rank the most popular tracks globally: the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and the Billboard Global 200 chart.
As per Soompi, the charts are based on streaming and sales data from more than 200 territories. And the determination of the rankings is based on a weighted formula that combines official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of leading digital platforms. Theses platforms are with downloads from major online music retailers around the world.
The data from worldwide are included in the Billboard Global 200 chart while featuring the data from territories excluding the United States is the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
On the Billboard Global 200 this week, BTS’s “Dynamite” holds No. 2, with global streams of 79.1 million and global downloads of 29,000 in the week ending September 17.
Furthermore, Cardi B’s “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion remains in No. 1. And Once again, “WAP” was the most-streamed track of the week internationally while “Dynamite” was the top-selling title.
Meanwhile, rising from No. 2 to No. 1 is the record-breaking “Dynamite” on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. The U.S., up from No. 2 last week. The septet’s track had 67.4 million streams and 18,000 downloads sold in many territories outside the United States in the week ending September 17.
Finally, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez are taking the No. 9 spot this week with the splendid “Ice Cream” track on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. The U.S., after its No. 6 ranking last week.
On September 22, the full Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excluding the U.S. charts dated September 26 will be released on Billboard’s website.

BLACKPINK, finally, bagged its first win with “Ice Cream” on SBS’s “Inkigayo”!
This week’s performers include SHINee’s Taemin, TREASURE, Stray Kids, Lovelyz, DONGKIZ, VAV, MCND, ONEUS, Wonho, Oh My Girl’s YooA, CRAVITY, H.O.T.’s Jang Woo Hyuk, CLC, fromis_9, and Apink’s Namjoo.
Taking the second place was Jessi’s “NUNU NANA,” and Park Jin Young and Sunmi’s “When We Disco” ranked third.
