In two weeks, BLACKPINK will debut their documentary film titled “BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky” and had recently unveiled their trailer for the movie. Also, the girl group will be the first artist to be featured on Youtube’s New Music "Release."

Reports suggest that the upcoming Netflix documentary film “BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky” will be an accumulation of the journey the group’s members from trainees to superstars in the past four years.

The documentary also features behind-the-scenes footage of their concerts and will be providing their commentary, stories, and thoughts about everything the girls went through.

In the 79-minute film, “BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky” shows the member’s growth in one of K-pop’s hottest girl groups today, including major tours such as when they performed in Coachella as the first K-pop artist to come to that feat and more.

The documentary film will also highlight their musical process and behind-the-scenes music production, revealing to fans how much effort BLACKPINK put on their songs.

However, fans are excited to see BLACKPINK’s trainee days that includes footage of the members practicing for their debut, with the member sharing their own experience and stories of what went through on their minds about the pressure of debuting.

BLACKPINK’s ‘Release’ Featured On Youtube’s New Music Series

BLACKPINK will be the first K-pop group to be featured on Youtube’s new music series titled “Release” that will premiere on Thursday night October 1, 2020, at 11:45 pm EST. The latest music series will feature 16 episodes that reveal exclusive performances and announcements from the girl group.

“We are really happy to be the first on Youtube’s new original content “Released.” We hope that it will be a great opportunity to celebrate our first full album “The Album” with many global music fans,” BLACKPINK said at the press conference.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to debut their full album titled “The Album” on October 2, 2020, and also revealed their third single from the album “Lovesick." On the other hand, “BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky” will debut on Netflix in October 14, 2020.
