On October 26, SJ Label revealed that Super Junior would release their 10th studio album in December.
Super Junior will also be celebrating their 15th anniversary as a group. Moreover, the boy band will release a song titled “The Melody, which is a pre-release song from the group along with a music video.
Super Junior’s upcoming album marks the group’s first album in 11 months since their repackaged ninth album “Timeless” that came out in January this year. The K-pop idol’s upcoming album has no confirmed titled track yet but will feature a pre-release song that is coming out on November 6 PM KST.
Meanwhile, Super Junior teased their fans with the upcoming special anniversary online meeting on Naver’s VLive on November 7, 5 PM KST. In the online event, E.L.F. will get the chance to see the members of the group and have a chat with them as they look back on the long list of memories and accomplishments since their debut in 2005.
Also, fans can expect a lot of showcases and performances from Super Junior’s tracks from the past years with each member highlighting their talents and skills during the online event.
On October 23, Super Junior shared a poster for their upcoming online fan meet, showing the member’s charms and charisma, raising expectations for the forthcoming event.
This is not the first time Super Junior held an online event as the group grace the Beyond Live stage on May 31 where they performed their singles such as “Sorry, Sorry,” “Black Suit,” and “Superman” during the Beyond the Super Show” streaming platform.
In other related news, Super Junior’s fans, E.L.F., also known as Ever Lasting Friends, defended their title for the Billboard’s Fan Army Face-Off on October 13. Billboard reported that E.L.F. won against Niall Horan’s fans in the final round.
This marks as E.L.F.’s second win for the Fan Army Face-Off where the fandom won the award back in 2018, which was also the most recent time that a fan voting contest has been held, making this a consecutive win from Super Junior fans.
