Four days before the release of TREASURE's new track, the dynamic boy group has released captivating teaser images and breathtaking new performance teaser!
The South Korean boy group TREASURE was formed in 2019 by YG Entertainment through the reality-survival program YG Treasure Box. The group comprises twelve members who share joint leadership among the eldest members, Choi Hyun-suk and Jihoon. On August 7, 2020, the group officially debuted with the single lead Boy from a single album, The First Step: Chapter One.
Reshaped For Global Market
TREASURE in January 2020 was re-introduced to the public as a group targeting the global market, unlike their label predecessors. Since then, the group initially focused on the domestic market, and through weekly pictorials and performance videos, including the single Going Crazy, contributed to the production.
This is alongside multiple variety programs via YouTube, including Treasure Map and T.M.I.Treasure Map was also aired on broadcasting channels such as SBS MTV and SBS FiL, from September 23 onward.
On August 4, ahead of debut, TREASURE was recorded as the fastest K-Pop group to chart on Billboard's Social 50 at number 40. It peaked at number 12 on May 27.
The Most Awaited Comeback
On October 30, 2020, an official statement from YG Entertainment was released regarding TREASURE's promotional activities. The agency also dropped the first set of charming new teaser images for the group's comeback.
Now, November 2, the group's first batch of teaser images has been released featuring Junkyu, Yoshi, Jihoon, and Hyunsuk.
The second comeback of TREASURE is with their single album The First Step: Chapter Three. It will contain two tracks, MMM and Orange. The YG Entertainment also released a performance teaser video on November 1.
The third single from TREASURE will be released on 6rd of November 2020 KST. As early as January of 2021, the group's first full album is scheduled to be released.
