BTS has thrown another reason to celebrate aside from its new album!
BTS’s Black Swan achieves another massive view figure on Youtube
In a Soompi report, the South Korean all-boy group of Big Hit Entertainment, BTS, is a significant contributor to Youtube’s streaming traffic. Having that said, the band’s mysterious music video for the track Black Swan has exceeded more than 200 million views on November 19 (Thursday).
The impressive news is proven a fact by Youtube, as it shows an accurate number of views. And as of this writing, the music video now has a whopping 200,639,794 views.
BTS did not sweat much, though, as they only bagged the new milestone just nine months and so after its release on March 5, at midnight KST. The music video’s track, Black Swan, is off from the group’s fourth Korean-language album entitled Map of the Soul: 7, dropped by BTS in February.
Furthermore, Black Swan is the world’s most phenomenal K-pop group’s 18th music video to achieve the said feat.
Following 17 previous music videos of the band, namely Fire, Dope, DNA, Blood Sweat & Tears, Save Me, Not Today, Boy in Luv, MIC DROP (Steve Aoki Remix), Spring Day, Fake Love, War of Hormone, Boy With Luv, ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima, I Need U, ON, and Dynamite. The list goes on with J-hope’s team-up music video with Becky G for Chicken noodle Soup.
As per Taipei Times, Black Swan sings of the dark possibilities of falling out of love through music. And its music video is described as “eerie.” Lumpens’ YongSeok Choi helmed it, and it was uploaded on Youtube simultaneously to the track’s release.
The music videos’ concepts go along in dark and cryptic themes, having the band members transform into their dark personas.
Meanwhile, BTS dropped a new music video titled Life Goes On, fresh from its latest album BE. Check it out here!
