BTS Jimin trended on Twitter again, as Filter claimed the number seven spot in the list of Spotify India's most-streamed K-pop songs for 2020. With that said, BTS Jimin's Filter is the highest-ranking solo song on the list, following the ranks of other BTS songs.
Allkpop reported that Rolling Stone India released the list of its Spotify outlet annual year-end chart. The report came in on December 4 KST, proving the massive demand for Filter in the world-renowned music streaming platform.
In recent years, India is a booming market of K-pop, with fans that offer a wide array of support to their idols. The growing popularity of K-pop in the country led BTS to extend its populace, adding many members to its colossal fandom, who call themselves ARMYs.
Furthermore, Spotify India listed the ten songs that were most-streamed for this year, listing BTS in seven ranks, with Jimin's Filter on the last, per Newsbreak.
BTS and BLACKPINK dominates the top 10 most-listened songs in Spotify India
The top ten is no other than being held by Big Hit Entertainment's BTS and YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK. With the Bangtan Boys owning seven places, the three remaining ranks were coveted by BLACKPINK solely.
Sitting on number one is BTS's Dynamite, followed by BTS's Boy With Luv featuring Halsey. BLACKPINK owns the third place with How You Like That, then immediately followed by BTS's ON.
BLACKPINK holds fifth place with Ice Cream, a track by the quartet, and Selena Gomez. The number six is reigned by BTS again with Black Swan, and number seven is by BTS Jimin's Filter, the most-streamed K-pop song in the prominent list.
The eighth-place belongs to BLACKPINK with Kill This Love, and the remaining two places are seated by BTS with Fake Love and Jungkook's Euphoria.
