The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month's brand reputation ranking for idol groups. Per Soompi, BTS, BLACKPINK, and Red Velvet are among the groups who rocked July with flying colors!

The rankings were analyzed using big data collected from June 24 to July 24. The data analyzed include consumer participation, media coverage, community awareness, and interaction indexes of 100 idol groups.

Rising from the fourth place is Red Velvet, who positioned themselves in the third place. The ranking marked a 29.46 percent increase from the previous month, garnering a total brand reputation index of 10,083,574 points.

The group created by SM Entertainment has recently launched its first subunit, Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi, who released their first album on July 6, 2020, titled "Monster." The EP contains six tracks, including the title track and the follow-up single "Naughty."

The group who has been thrilling their fans with future collaborations and solo activities- BLACKPINK has nailed themselves in second place. With a 29.46 percent increase from the previous month (still second place), they bagged a total brand reputation index of 10,083,574 points.

The date of the release of BLACKPINK's hit track "How You Like That" was covered in this newly released brand reputation ranking. As of this writing, the MV for the track has already breached 350 million views.

And of course, BTS, who has just grabbed another Guinness World Records title with their virtual concert "BANG BANG CON: The Live," extends another month in the first place. Although their index reputation fell by 13 percent, they still managed to stay at the top of the game.

Among the high-ranking phrases in the BTS keyword analysis includes "Billboard," "Oricon," and "Guinness," while their highest ranking related terms include "appear," "new record," and "moving." The group's positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 76.02 percent positive reactions.
