The fans of X1 is still on the full gear in supporting their idols!
Despite X1’s disbandment earlier this year and just a month before their debut anniversary, the former K-pop all-boy band has reached another significant milestone on Youtube.
On July 26 (Sunday), X1’s debut music video titled ‘FLASH’ has hit the 100 million mark on the online video-sharing platform site, Youtube. Per Soompi, at roughly around 11:30 A.M. KST, the music video reached 100 million views in ten months and twenty-nine days after its release on August 27, 2019.
‘FLASH’ was dropped by X1 consisting of Kim Yo Han, Seung Woo, Song Hyeon Jun, Kim Woo Seok, Son Dong Pyo, Cho Seung Youn, Nam Do Hyun, lee Han Gyul, Kang Min Hee, Cha Jun Ho, and Lee Eun Sang, as their ban’s grand entrance in the K-pop industry.
According to Hellokpop, ‘FLASH’ is a “fascinating” music video that bottles up as lead single for the band’s extended play entitled ‘Quantum Leap.’ The said mini-album comes in an appealing and buoyant beat that extends a dark feeling.
Moreover, X1’s milestone on Youtube has now hailed them as the “fastest” South Korean all-boy ensemble music video to 100 million views. All eleven lads only took 334 days to surpass the record previously owned by fellow all-boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER for their ‘CROWN’ track music video; TXT fell short with fourteen days.
On the other hand, ITZY’s ‘DALLA DALLA’ bears the overall smashing record for the fastest debut music video to reach the 100 million mark in just a month and twenty-eight days.
X1’s Disbandment
In January, the various agencies managing all eleven members of X1 has made known their tragic decision in disbanding the group. Despite the band’s transient time in the spotlight, X1 has undoubtedly earned so much success for their EP ‘Quantum Leap.’ The K-pop idols were among the highest group debut on its first week with a massive 524,007 album sales.
